In addition to my active practice I spend in excess of 600 hours a year working pro-bono protecting ALL children from genital cutting procedures. Regardless of gender, cultural, ethnic or religious identity – all people have the right to Bodily Autonomy and Genital Integrity, especially children, in line with the 1989 UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the 2012 Helsinki Declaration on Genital Autonomy.
